I’ve had several people make inquiries about my rock climbing after yesterday’s post. There’s quite a bit of curiosity about my clandestine activity of choice.
I have a suspicion that people would like me to post more about it. Rock climbing is poised for a boost of visibility in the public eye this summer when it is unveiled as an Olympic sport for the first time this summer. People will be drawn to investigate the unknown. Given that, I think I’m going to write a series of stories that help introduce the sport to my readers in a more thoughtful and gradual manner.
I’m really stoked about the concept! There isn’t much climbing fiction out there currently. It’s probably an underserved market…
