I started a SCREAMS!!! story last night based on the blurry red lipstick prompt. I don’t have time to finish it, though. Working on revisions to my latest commission story. I may add more world building and turn that one into an extended novella for Amazon. I really like the idea from the patron, and he is good with me doing just that. 🙂
Anyway, the SCREAMS!!! story was one where I wrote the final line first. This was to be the ending:
“I watched her kiss the car window, leaving a mark of blurry red lipstick in the shape of her pursed lips. I felt the zombie’s teeth clamp on my throat from behind. Blood welled and dripped from the wound.
The reality sunk in that by morning, I would be one of them.”
